Natural foundations is a social enterprise based in Essex, passionate about getting children outside to play. Studies have shown that playing outside regularly improves children’s health, confidence, risk-awareness, social skills and can also improve their ability to learn. In Scandinavia forest schools – taking the classroom outside – have become a normal part of a child’s schooling.

Our sessions run throughout the year in all weathers. Our  weekly sessions are for all children and their parents/carers.  We can run a range of activities for early years settings and primary schools and home educators. Weekends sessions are available for private parties
